Golden Tee LIVE uses two distinct types of cards when starting a game: Identification cards, and payment cards. Check out the descriptions below for everything you need to know about getting the most out of the game. Be sure to check out the Player Account FAQ as well for any additional questions you might have about your GT or SSB player card.
In order to track your personal stats, you need to identify yourself. Use nearly any credit card or a Golden Tee Gold Card when
prompted at the start of a game. Similar to express ticket check-in kiosks at airports around the globe, the game will instantaneously
recognize who you are and access your accounts, personalized characters and statistics within seconds. All sensitive information goes
through a 128-byte encryption process and is heavily secured in compliance with SHA standards. Each card creates a unique account,
so be sure to use the same card every time you play so your player history is recorded properly!
Purchasing a Player Card on the Game
You can buy a personalized Golden Tee Player Card when you play Golden Tee LIVE! First, start a game of Golden Tee LIVE. Whether you choose to play LIVE (for GLORY or for PRIZES) or an un-identified game, a special prompt will appear on the 7th hole asking you if you wish to buy a new Golden Tee LIVE Gold Card. Say YES and enter your legal name and complete mailing information.
If you identified yourself at the start of the game with a credit card or original Golden Tee Fore! card, your new Golden Tee LIVE Gold Card will be encoded to match the card used when starting the game. They are interchangeable and will access the same account, that way you’ll always have a backup!
If you did not identify yourself with any card when you started the game, congratulations on creating a new Golden Tee LIVE Player Account. Your card will be mailed to you in 4 to 6 weeks, and you can begin to play for both Glory and Prizes. Welcome to the Gold Card Club!
Purchasing a Player Card on the Website
- If you have a web account that is already attached to a Credit Card or Golden Tee Gold Card, login to your web account first before entering the card store. You will then be able to purchase a Golden Tee Gold Card tied to the same account.
- If you do NOT have a web account but have been playing with a Credit Card or Golden Tee Gold Card, follow the instructions here to register for a web account and attach your card. Login to your web account and enter the card store to purchase a Golden Tee Gold Card tied to the same account.
- If you want to purchase a brand new card that is not tied to an existing card, ensure you are not logged in to a web account and enter the card store.
If you have already purchased a Golden Tee LIVE Gold Card and need a replacement card, you can can reorder a new card from within your player account. To reorder a card, first login to your player account. If you do not have a player account, follow these instructions to create one and attach your player card. Once you have your card attached to your player account, there is an option underneath Manage Profile to reorder a card. It will take 4-6 weeks for your replacement card to be processed.
Golden Tee LIVE is the first arcade game in history to accept payment by credit card or gift card! When prompted
to pay while STARTING A GAME you can select to PAY WITH CREDIT CARD or GIFT CARD. Cards with the Visa® or Mastercard® logo
are both accepted.
GIFT CARDS are now available! Just like at major retail stores, Gift Cards are charged up and debited until empty!
