HOW TO QUALIFY

Online qualifying lasts six weeks in each region. To qualify for your Regional Final, simply play 50 18-hole games of Golden Tee LIVE 2007 "PRIZE" or "GLORY" play during your region's qualification period. You must identify yourself with the same player card during this period. Games played on any other version of Golden Tee will not count. Once you complete 50 games - identifying yourself with your same player card - you then qualify for the Final in your region! Fun, competition and TONS of free Golden Tee – it's the ultimate video golf weekend!

Tournament space is limited and we ask that qualifiers who plan to compete in a Regional Final pre-register for the event. Once you've completed your qualifying games, simply log in to your web account and click on the REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP PRE-REGISTRATION banner. You can qualify in more than one region but you may only pre-register/attend one final event. Pre-registered players are guaranteed a spot in the tournament and will undergo faster registration at the Regional Final.

International players who qualify in their home country may only compete at the Western Open.

PRIZES

The 2007 Golden Tee LIVE Regional Championships will be the largest in Golden Tee history! Over $25,000 will be awarded to 200 winners at each regional final. It's easy to qualify and easy to win!

REGIONAL FINALS FORMAT

Regional Finals will be conducted on Friday and Saturday in each region. The festivities kick-off Friday evening with the Team USA Shootout, Pub Championship and - back by popular demand - GOLDEN TEE FREE PLAY!

50 machines will be set to FREE PLAY throughout the tournament!

The Regional Final Main Event starts on Saturday morning, where each player will play five games (commonly referred to as "the cycle"), one on each of the five Golden Tee LIVE 2007 courses. Conditions will be the same for all competitors and gold tees will be used.

The five-course qualifier guarantees all competitors will play lots of Golden Tee, alleviating any fears of early elimination from the tournament. Bring your friends and family and make an entire weekend out of it! The public is invited to watch and cheer, and special room rates at nearby hotels have been secured to ensure everyone will have a great and inexpensive time!

Total strokes will decide the order of finish with total Great Shot Points as the tiebreaker. The top-nine shooters will then make the cut and play off for the championship. The top shooter will be named "King of the Hill" and will wait to see which of the qualifiers, 2 through 9, will challenge him in a single match showdown for the title. In other words, the top shooter can finish no worse than second. Qualifiers 2 through 8 will compete in a single-elimination bracket seeded 2 vs. 9, 3 vs. 8, 4 vs. 7 and 5 vs. 6. The tie-breaker for these head-to-head matches will be sudden death.
