50 Players Qualify in Each Region! For the true die-hards of the game, the Team USA Shootout returns - bigger and better! This year, the Golden Tee LIVE Regional Championships plays a bigger role in the Team USA qualification process, with three players per region - nine total - earning spots on next year's roster. These nine winners will join reigning World Champion, Graig Kinzler, on Team USA and compete in next year's Golden Tee World Championship event. In addition to Graig, the Team USA Shootout winners account for 10 of the 16-man roster, leaving six spots in contention before the event. Incredible Technologies expects the remaining six spots to be awarded in a "For the Love of the Game" selection draft. Team USA Shootout 2007 - Format and Rules Team USA Shootout qualifying is simply a deeper level of the six-week Regional Championship qualification process. Play 50 18-hole games of Golden Tee LIVE 2007 "PRIZE" or "GLORY" play during your region's qualification period. You must identify yourself with the same player card during this period. Games played on any other version of Golden Tee will not count. Once you complete 50 games - identifying yourself with your same player card - players will be ranked according to their best 50-game average. The top 50 players, and ties, in each region qualify to compete in their Regional Final Team USA Shootout! The Regional Final Team USA Shootout will be held Friday evening, where each Team USA Shootout qualifier will play five games (commonly referred to as "the cycle"), one on each of the five Golden Tee LIVE 2007 courses. Similar to the Main Event, total strokes will be used to decide the order of finish and Great Shot Points will serve as the tiebreaker. Conditions will be the same for all competitors and gold tees will be used. The top three players in each Team USA Shootout Final win a spot on Golden Tee Team USA 2008! Being a part of Team USA and participating in the Golden Tee World Championship is the highest honor that any player can earn.
