Design-a-Hole

Golden Tee 2010 Design-a-Hole Contest
Presented by Goldentee.com

With a spot in Golden Tee 2010 up for grabs, the second-ever Design-a-Hole contest began right where the inaugural event left off, and the excitement and participation from players and fans went well beyond expectations.

The submission process was open from March 16th through April 15th. GT enthusiasts went all out – submitting drawings, 3D renderings, ransom notes, doodles, and even YouTube videos! In the end, players submitted more than double the total designs compared to the previous year!

Golden Tee co-creators Larry Hodgson and Jim Zielinski then had the tough task of narrowing the field down to three finalists. The designs were so good they couldn't stop there and chose to expand the finalist field to five.

From that point on, the rest was up to GT fans around the world! Online voting began March 4th and lasted through March 22nd. The player and hole receiving the greatest amount of total votes in this time would be deemed winner of the 2010 DAH contest. After nearly 60,000 votes it was Mansfield, Ohio's Jim Little prevailing with his hole, Tropical Torment!

Thanks to everyone that submitted a design and participated in the voting, and congratulations to Jim on winning the Golden Tee 2010 Design-a-Hole contest.
