QUICK STATS:
Golden Tee course god Jim Zielinski has designed hundreds of virtual golf holes over the past twenty years. Still, however, there are two holes in the game that were not his creations. These holes are easily recognized, mainly due to the distinct signs that personalize them directly off the tee.
Missouri native Dave Hollingshead and Ohio's Jim Little don't just have their names on the sign; they were the masterminds behind The Falls and Tropical Torment.
Our two previous Design-a-Hole winners started their journey with a simple sketch. Over the course of each contest, their ideas gained the approval of our DAH judges and Golden Tee creators Jim Zielinski and Larry Hodgson, and eventually the Golden Tee players. The rest is history.
History is set to be made again as the Design-a-Hole contest is back for another year. Those who crave to be more than a player of their favorite game have a chance to do so. Turn your creativity, Golden Tee knowledge, and love for the game into something brilliant ? and perhaps, your brilliance will be recognized for years to come.
Don't just play the game, be a part of it.

The submission process will remain exactly the same as the previous two Design-a-Holes. We are, however, altering the voting to improve upon the DAH contests in the past. In previous years, voting took place in only one round. Those days are long gone. Throughout the three-week voting time period, our finalists will go through three separate rounds of voting. This includes an initial "Elimination" round as well as some "Head-to-Head" showdowns to follow. Expect to see more finalists this year as we are not limiting the total amount of designs that will qualify for the first round.
The Design Clause: Taking a drawing or other type of submission and putting it into the game is a challenge, and it doesn't always transform into GT how one envisioned it. Course designer Jim Zielinski battles this problem daily and is constantly tinkering with his initial sketches once he begins the actual design process. In order to create a more playable Golden Tee hole, Jim Zielinski will provide these slight modifications on our winning design this year.
