Episode 6:
GTLRC Western Open 2007 Recap
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas…
Unless Duffer Dan Schrementi and three-time National Champ Steven Sobe were there. They'll tell you ANYTHING!
That's right, the pair from IT is back from Vegas poorer, louder and more sleep deprived than ever. The Western Open is over which means the 2007 Golden Tee LIVE Regional Championships are in the books. So what better way to say goodbye to the 2007 Regionals than with Duffer Dan and Sobe? Ok so there are plenty of better ways, but this was the best we could do on short notice. Cut us some slack!
From playing penny slots till 3:00 a.m. to the Jagermeister machine at the tournament bar (a player favorite), the Western Open was the ultimate send off for the 2007 Regionals. Even rock legend Gene Simmons stopped by… yeah so he was at the TouchTunes jukebox party next door, but that's still in the vicinity! Relive all the action from the City of Sin including how Duffer and Sobe use moving games as their exercise for the year, why you can only win at Pai Gow Poker if you're a woman and how the boys from Canada took the West by storm. They're pretty good, eh?
And keeping tradition alive, Anthony Goertz made the mistake of actually agreeing to be on the show. Hear how the Western Open Champ used a new strategy to propel him to the top. Here's a hint - it wasn't his Tommy Bahama shirt!
Plus insight into Duffer's statistical skills, the successful return of Golden Tee legend Ryan Bourgeois and everything else that happened after the sun went down in Las Vegas. It's the complete rundown of the Western Open and 2007 Regionals. It's ITtv episode 6!
