The scene looked like a rock concert Thursday night at the Official Launch Party held at Timothy O'Toole's in downtown Chicago. Hundreds of Golden Tee and Illinois lottery fans from across Chicagoland packed into the pub to get their first glimpse of the Golden Tee Golf Instant Ticket! And once the scratching began the excitement exploded - for the players and companies alike!

Crowd"We are so excited," exclaimed Illinois Lottery Promotions Manager Paul Arnell. "This was a unique opportunity for us. I knew we had to be the first state to have a Golden Tee Instant ticket and it's just been an excellent partnership. I wish all partnerships were like this."

"The event itself was such a tremendous success with an excellent turnout. I mean it was packed. And this was just the first one. I can't wait to see what happens as the momentum builds."

Timothy O'Toole's General Manager Chris McDonald echoed Arnell's sentiments, saying he'd never seen an event of that magnitude.

"In eleven years I've seen plenty of promotions. But this was far and away the most successful. It's the best turnout we've ever had for an event like this. It's awesome. I wish every night was like this."

With a Golden Tee connected to two big screen plasma televisions in the bar, players and fans had the opportunity to buy Golden Tee Instant Tickets and celebrate the monumental collaboration.

KickoffBut it wouldn't be a Golden Tee event without a little trackball competition. With a little help from Q101 radio station personalities Sherman and Tingle, the Illinois Lottery kicked off the first of its 16 closest-to-the-pin promo nights. Throughout the night, players tried to stick it close as they competed for a chance to win $5,000!

With many Chicago Golden Tee die hards in attendance, including world champion Graig Kinzler, the competition was as boisterous as it was enjoyable. Timothy O'Toole's regular Nick Thompson of Chicago claimed the victory and is the first competitor to write his name into the championship on March 12 at Cubby Bear North in Lincolnshire.

Incredible Technologies President and CEO Elaine Hodgson was one of the hundreds in attendance, and she couldn't contain her excitement for the event and the chance to see the Golden Tee brand on and Instant Ticket.

"This is just amazing," commented Hodgson. "To see our game on a lottery ticket is incredible. It's yet another way to win at Golden tee!"
