Are you ready Philadelphia? Because Sobe sure is!
Fresh off his blowout victory in Wisconsin where he went a perfect 12-0, the three-time Golden Tee national champion is making a stop just outside the City of Brotherly Love for some fun, sight-seeing and - most importantly - Golden Tee.
But in a Beat the Champ first, Sobe's taking an extended stay and having TWO finals.
It all begins March 14 where ground zero will be the Blarney Stone in West Chester where nine Phillies (not the baseball team) will try to take him down. Then Saturday, Sobe takes a trip 9-miles down the road to the town of Glen Mills where the champ will take on nine more players at Duffer's Tavern.
It's going to be an entire weekend of competition, Golden Tee and Sobe. Is there anything better?!
For the past month, players have been trying to spin as many games as possible in hopes of qualifying as one of the top 12 players with the most games played. Players had to play a minimum of 20 games to qualify with qualifiers 1-6 playing Sobe 7 pm Friday night at Blarney Stone. Qualifiers 7-12 will take on the champ Saturday night at 5 pm at Duffer's.

Whether you come out to the Blarney Stone (Above) on Friday or Duffer's Tavern (Below) on Saturday - or both - the Beat the Champ event is sure to be a good time! |

But if you didn't make the top 12 it doesn't mean you can't take a shot at the champ. If you've played your 20 games, simply show up to either of the live finals for a chance to win one of the three remaining spots. Three names will be randomly selected at each final to fill out the field of nine.
And to sweeten the pot, East Coast Vending will award a $100 Golden Tee gift card to any player who beats Sobe. Those players who come closest on each machine will win a $50 gift card!
Plus, all qualifiers in attendance at each final will have an opportunity to be randomly selected to win a Sony PSP! But you can only win by coming out.
For those who haven't experienced it, Beat the Champ is the hottest Golden Tee sensation in the country - with locations in almost every state clamoring for Sobe to make a stop. The format is simple - a crowd of competitors, three or four machines and one champion playing a round against all of them at the same time!
It might not sound fair but tell that to the players Sobe has left in his wake! The champ is a staggering 29-7 in these events and he just went a perfect 12-0 at Bub's Irish Pub in Germantown, WI on February 28.
Will Philadelphia rise to the challenge and prove its Golden Tee metal… or get burned by Sobe's hot streak? Only time will tell!
