Jeff Allums and Baja Bean Company to Host Sixth Annual NIV Classic

It's more than a tournament - it's a tradition. And it's back again!

Baja_beanThe NIV Classic, the longest running active tournament outside of the World Championships, is set to kick off its sixth year of warm weather, good times and Golden Tee at the Baja Bean Co. in Richmond, VA.

Spanning April 25 - 27, the NIV is one of the best player-run tournaments of the year, with top names from across the country descending on the Bean to compete. And no other tournament offers so much!

Baja Bean bar owner and WVGA president and founder Jeff Allums has pulled out all the stops to make sure the sixth Classic tops them all. Between the free beer Friday from 7pm till close, free Golden Tee during the tournament, the Saturday Night $1000 freeroll poker tournament and the free lunch Saturday and Sunday, players get the ultimate bang for their buck. Plus every player is guaranteed match play in either the 32-man Championship or Purple bracket.

And don't forget about "Jefe's" famous “burro del fuego” scoring system and the Bean's party atmosphere - which includes a newly renovated bar and huge patio for players to take advantage of.
