Dave Hollingshead Can't Wait for the 15th to be Over

Hollingshead and LoftusWith Design-a-Hole voting ending on midnight, May 15, it's looking promising for Dave Hollingshead of St. Charles, MO. Dave's hole design aptly named "The Falls" has been experiencing success since the gate opened on May 1. If you haven't seen it, it's a mountainous par 4 (or 5) that features a brilliant waterfall through the center that flows over the green. Dave cleverly created a safe way to the green and a risk/reward shortcut as well.  And while he was nervous that his amateur Microsoft Paint skills would hurt his vision, in reality his design is showing quite well online.

Well enough to give him an 8% lead in votes with only a couple of days to go!

But his road to the top of the conceptual heap hasn't been easy, mostly due to the undeniably spectacular model put together by Bert Loftus of Nashville, TN. His now famous "Frog's Pond" 3-D model has been turning heads since the minute the precisely carved piece of foam came through the doors of IT. And while he enjoyed the lead for a short period of time, Bert has spent most of his days neck-and-neck with the colorfully grandiose "Falls" concept. And Bert's not rolling over yet.

At one point in competition Bert was down in the votes by more than 10%. With two-and-a-half days of voting to go he has cut that lead to 8% and the margin is getting slimmer by the day. Will we have a fight to the finish?

This is your last chance to let your voice be heard! Go to the Goldentee.com Design-a-Hole Voting page and choose wisely. Ask yourself, do you want to see the GT design team pull off Hollingshead's massive waterfall or match the meticulous efforts of Bert Loftus? It's YOUR choice!
