Qualifying for the 2008 Golden Tee World Championship opened at midnight on Tuesday, July 1, and before most could enjoy their morning coffee, two players had already qualified!
Dan "Dannyboy" Beall of Wichita Kansas and Maryland's Will "Billy Mac!" McCormick, both pulled all-nighters to be the first on the boards. As the day went on, three more names made their way onto the leaderboard, as dedicated players secured their spots for Vegas. With only 400 spots in the field, expect new names to appear every day.
No, you probably don't need to play all fifty games in a matter of hours. However, don't procrastinate and risk missing out on the biggest Golden Tee party ever. To qualify, play 50 games and register for the Championship before August 15.
