QUICK STATS:
This shot is making noise in the Golden Tee world and now it's been named the Golden Tee Great Shot of April. On the surface it looks like pure luck and there is certainly some involved, but dig deeper and you'll see there is plenty of intent when attempting it. You might not have the same results as above, but you are sure to impress your buddies just by trying it out!
Here's what the shot maker Miller Montz, (aka CowboyMiller) had to say for those planning on trying the bank shot on Black Hills 14. Enjoy!
"Both tee boxes have their own pillar to bounce off of. If you turn around and look at the taller pillar that is closet to the tee box you are on, (the smoother looking pillar), you will see a faint arrow and a bush - you want to hit it here. If the wind is blowing into your face, avoid using backspin and add some 'umph' behind it. I usually hit a 3-wood, but a 5-wood should work also. Not so sure about driver. It's definitely a fun shot to try, and if you haven't done it yet, give it a go."
