Widescreen and the Debut of Quick Stats to Create a Much Better Online Experience!

No, your computer monitor isn't busted so stop hitting it! Goldentee.com has just gotten a serious upgrade!

The first and most noticeable change on the site is the size. Both the page and image marquees have nearly doubled in size and we've added larger and more detailed backgrounds, enhancing your online experience. As you'll soon find out, this also makes things much easier on the eyes. And while the new look is fantastic, the size isn't the only thing to change.

Also debuting is Quick Stats – a new way to compare and monitor your Golden Tee achievements and statistics online!

To get started, simply click on the Quick Stats button at the top of the Golden Tee page. From here, you'll be asked to enter your first or last name, leaderboard name, or persona ID to help identify yourself.

If you have a common first, last, or leaderboard name and don't have access to your persona, you might be asked to verify who you are from a list of similar responses. Once you are able to find yourself, you'll then be taken to the Quick Stats Homepage.

Sort through all kinds of statistics over the course of your Golden Tee lifetime or see how you're stacking up in 2010 alone. You can even break down your averages and bests on each individual GT LIVE courses for both 18 and 9-hole rounds. While players could see this kind of useful information in the past, never have they been able to compare themselves to others!

Quick Stats gives you the opportunity to add four players into your page to compare yourself to! This can be family, friends, local competitors, and even the top GT players in the world! To begin filling up your Quick Stats Homepage simply click one of the "Add Player" tab next to "MY STATS."

Here's where things get really cool. Wouldn't it be nice to know just how you stack up against the GT pros, including world champions: Andy Haas, Graig Kinzler, Chris Eversole, and Jeff Harlow? Now you can! Outside of these few, there are also some very accomplished players to add into the mix as well. WARNING: These guys are good!

You can also manually search for someone (similar to how you identified yourself) at the bottom or add someone that you've played against in the past two weeks. Play a game at your local pub against someone and want to see how you stack up? Find his name in the middle category and see just how good of a player you were playing against.

Once you add a player, his name and GT statistics will then be added to your Quick Stats Homepage. You can replace or change the players in your list at anytime by simply clicking on the "+" button next to their name.

While Quick Stats won't all the sudden improve your putting or turn those –15s into –20s, you will be able to use this fun application to compare your Golden Tee game to the rest of the online world! These changes are just the beginning on Goldentee.com! We've got other plans in the works to enhance your GT enjoyment!
