Video Golfers for Underdogs is pleased to announce the third edition of the Golden Tee Players Charity Championship! The PCC invitational
tournament will feature the world's top Golden Tee players - whose GT skills are surpassed only by their generosity.

Players and sponsors are donating items for The Players Silent Auction (PSA). The PSA will be held during the tournament and will include signed memorabilia, clothing, golf clubs, golf bags, tickets to sporting events, and much more. Anyone can bid on auction items and support a wonderful cause. All proceeds from The PSA will benefit Salute.

Show your pride for our veterans! All PCC players will be given a special code that will allow them to download the Salute shirt when the 2011 Golden Tee courses are released this fall. Anyone not playing in the tournament can also support Salute and earn this cool prize by making a $25 donation to anyone’s donor page.
Since Steve Sobe went back home to the family business in North Carolina, Adam Kramer - marketing man by day and Golden Tee golfer by night - has become the best GT player at IT and will be representing IT at the PCC. There will be other fun events taking place over the weekend, including a very special CTTP Friday night contest, a REAL golf outing, a scotch doubles tournament, a Legends of the Game tournament (35 and over), and spouse activities. In 1999 the first live, player run Golden Tee tournament was held at Splinters Sports Pub in Palatine, Illinois. In 2002, Splinters hosted the first live tournament with an official secondary (Purple) bracket, insuring for the first time that "everyone plays on Sunday."
Two years later, Splinters hosted the original Golden Tee Players Charity Championship, the first Golden Tee tournament held for charity. More than $44,000 was raised by Video Golfers for Underdogs (VG4U), and those funds were immediately gifted to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The second Golden Tee Players Charity Championship was held in St. Louis in 2008. More than $40,000 was raised by VG4U for Make-A-Wish at the event.

Salute, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Will and Mary Beth Beiersdorf to help meet the financial, physical and emotional needs of military service members, veterans and their families. They strive to raise awareness of their sacrifices and provide a safety net to ensure every military family is treated with honor and dignity.
