From Tee To Green, In Golden Tee 2011 YouTube Any Shot That YOU Want

The debut of YouTube Golden Tee Great Shots in Golden Tee 2009 literally changed the way we look at our favorite game.

No longer were players forced to recollect their amazing virtual hole outs and relay "the" shot to their buddies the very next day. Now they had visual ammunition to back up their once-in-a-lifetime effort and were able to share it with the entire online world.

YouTube This, of course, brought about the monthly and yearly Great Shot news features on Goldentee.com, along with the excitement that now surrounds these shots on the GT Facebook Page. This was a result of being able to capture Golden Tee Great Shots up until this point. And while this feature will remain in Golden Tee 2011, we're also adding another YouTube dynamic that is going to change the way you play.

In 2011, you now have the option to upload any shot at anytime during your round.

"Just because the game doesn't think your shot is 'great' doesn't mean it wouldn't make great theater," said Golden Tee project manager Brian Jandula. "We've decided to give players the option to share what they deem to be YouTube worthy in 2011."

Capture any wedge, putt, swing, miscue, or amazing moment that you please. Players will have the option to upload any and all shots to YouTube - for a minimal fee - regardless of distance and just how spectacular or unspectacular they truly are.

What you decide to upload is your prerogative. Hit a bystander camel; upload it to YouTube. Nail an impressive chip that you'd like to show off; upload that to YouTube. Make an impressive 30-foot breaker to beat your buddy, upload that to YouTube and send it to him the very next day.

The possibilities are endless, and now every single shot you take can be captured, uploaded and shared.

"The near misses can be as or more exciting than the shots many make," said Jandula. "We also believe that when given the chance, players will be able to create some good entertainment without coming close to the cup. I guess we will find out."
