The Skilled, the Lucky, and the Downright Nasty Have Their Say in This Month's Great Shot Feature

Golden Tee 2011 is set to bring about a massive change to Golden Tee Great Shots. With the announcement that every shot taken can be uploaded to YouTube in the next update, our monthly features might take on a much different look with the variety of shots we can expect to see.

YouTubeUntil then, the show must go on.

In July we saw a variety of intriguing efforts, including a couple of very skillful shots that certainly warranted being highlighted. Monument Valley once again made most of the headlines, a trend that has become very familiar in the previous months. Our winning shot, however, comes from Tahiti Cove and features a par-5 that has been double eagled plenty of times before, just never like this.

Ladies and gentlemen, we give you the finest Golden Tee Great Shots of July!

breaker

The equivalent of a guy banking a 3-pointer in a pickup game. He didn't "call it" but it makes for great theatrics regardless.

This is a fantastic double eagle on a tough shot. Hurdling the water caps off a truly brilliant effort.

This might not look nasty at first glance, but it truly is. Notice the pin placement, ball flight and window to hit through. (golf clap)

The Monument Valley 16th has been a hot topic of late. This shot showcases why…

Double Trouble: If you liked the previous shot than you'll LOVE this. Thanks wind!

We've all hit this piece of canyon wall before. Only one of us, however, has turned this into a positive.

Our July Shot of the Month features an effort on Tahiti Cove that showcases a unique way to tackle this lava-loaded par-5. This shot actually gets three excellent (and we mean excellent) bounces to seal the double eagle.

Although this may not alter how you decide to play this hole, it certainly opens up some different strategies to interpretation. Well, maybe not but it sure is fun to watch.

WARNING: Try this at your own risk.

Congrats to everyone who made the monthly feature, and as always keep those great shots comin'!
