PCC: Almost Show Time

We're at The Home Stretch! Everything You Need to Know About Golden Tee's Biggest Weekend!

It's hard to believe, but the Golden Tee Player's Charity Championship is almost upon us. After months of anticipation, one of the game's most exciting and worthwhile causes is about to come full circle and final preparations are being made.

The action kicks off Friday, August 27th with the PCC Golf Outing. Once it has concluded, the action will head to the site of the tournament, Splinters Sports Pub in Palatine, Illinois for the rest of the weekend.

You don't have to be registered to play in PCC to take be a part of the festivities. Salute Friday is open to everyone and we recommend that fans of the game stop by and take in the festivities. The PCC CTTP Contest begins at 7:00 PM and entry into this event is only $10.

Up for grabs is a shot at the grand prize, an entry into the WCOFF (World Championship of Fantasy Football) and some serious cash. Again, you don't have to be registered in the PCC to have a chance at this, just stop by ahead of time and sign up.

Friday night will also feature auctions, raffles, giveaways, a sneak peak at Golden Tee 2011, and a special acoustic performance by Ira Dean, the voice and personality behind It's Golden Tee. This is a night built around Salute, the game, and having a cold beverage in the company of good people. In other words, stop by if you can!

PCC Saturday, the focus will turn to Golden Tee and the action is expected to be riveting.

World champions, tournament winners, Golden Tee Society members, and more – the PCC will feature the game's best going head-to-head for one of this year's largest prize pools. On Sunday, the PCC will conclude and the champion will be crowned!

Before we can crown a new PCC champ, however, there is still plenty of time to be a part of this fantastic event. Even if you aren't playing or can't make it to Friday's stockpiled day, you can donate to SALUTE Inc. and get yourself ready for GT 2011 in the process.

If you donate $25 or more, you'll automatically receive a virtual Salute tee shirt for your on-screen golfer for Golden Tee 2011, and the fun doesn't stop there. Make a $50 donation and we’ll provide you with all the new 2011 club sets – and get this – all the previously issued club sets! That’s a $24 value!

PLUS: Everyone that donates $50 or more (this includes all of you that have already stepped up and made your donation) will receive a limited edition PCC Golden Tee Players Card (seen above)!
