GT Heads To Iowa This September For The "Hey 19" – For the Players Championship

Hey 19 Cheap Golden Tee and cheap drinks, now that sounds like something we could all use a little more of. Well, the "Hey 19" - For the Player Championship has that covered and more.

For the second consecutive year, The Double Inn Bar and Grill will be the location for the Cedar Rapids showdown on September 17th through the 19th. And while Golden Tee will be the focal point throughout the weekend, college and NFL football will be in the air and more specifically on the Double Inn televisions.

Gentlemen, welcome to a weekend built for champions.

Although the tournament doesn't really start till Friday, early birds arriving on Thursday will be able to enjoy a warm-up day. The Double Inn will open at 11 AM for everyone that is looking to hone their skills before hand. On Friday the bar will open up at 10 AM and the doubles tournament will begin at 7:00 PM that evening.

Saturday, the doors open at 9:00 AM and qualifying begins at 11:30 AM. Once the qualifier is complete, matches will begin around 6:00. On Sunday, matches will begin around 10 AM and conclude later on that afternoon. At this point the "Hey 19" champion will be crowned!

Entry into the tournament is $100. On top of the prize pool that will be awarded, there is also a Tournament of Champions spot to be won! The player that finishes highest in the tourney that doesn't already have his spot secured will take home a TOC pass!

The TOC is Club Lucky's mega-tourney that will take place at Grand Geneva Resort and Spa on October 22nd through the 24th. Up for grabs is the eye-popping $75,000 prize pool! If you didn't qualify for the TOC before hand and are still looking to earn your way in, the "Hey 19" - For the Players Championship is the perfect place to do so.
