How To Play :: Course Descriptions
Return to Cabinet

Golden Tee LIVE is back with all new courses that take players where few have ever dared to dream. Think you're ready? Think again! LIVE 2008 offers the chance to play through snow, swamps, oceans and monuments. And a new twist has been added - variety! Hundreds of tee boxes add a spice to the courses that will freshen the experience every time you tee off.

The award winning graphics of Golden Tee LIVE are taken to a new extreme in 2008 with unmatched realism and game play features. In fact, the only way to make it more real is to put the game outside! Every type of seasonal weather condition and time-of-day is accounted for. Depending on the course, players can experience a breezy summer's day on the coast of California, to a cold autumn morning in the Alaskan Tundra. They can watch as the sun moves with the hours and courses change throughout the day. Leaves fall, ponds ice over and greens react as they would in real life - the scenery is prettier than in a player's dreams.

But don't get lost in the beauty of these courses. With so many tee boxes and new challenges it's not hard to turn a scenic stroll into a duffing disaster. But with the help of three-time Golden Tee champion, Steven Sobe, players can pick-up these links faster than ever.

The most common question I hear on the road is, "How do you guys shoot in the -20's?" So we've decided, why not show them. That's why this year the Goldentee.com crew and I came up with this new video series. Now you can see me play, and how I did it, from the comfort of your PC!

2008 has so many tee and pin combinations that showing all of them would be nearly impossible. So for each hole I tried to pick situations that best explain the strategy I take. I used my preference of balls and clubs - your's may vary. And don't mind some of the wacky scores you see. To get my special tutorial ready, the GT game programers had to do some magic. Ignore it, I'm just here to teach! On a final note, some holes have alternate approaches. Look for the "Alternate Approach" link in the "Hole Summary" box.

I hope you find this series both educational and enjoyable. Look for more videos out on our YouTube page!
